BMG began development on a new consumer products magazine called Tester. The primary focus of the publication is automotive, powersports, and lifestyle related products. “Tester is one of our most exciting new titles to date,” said Rodney Burrell, Editor-in-Chief of Tester.
“There are lots of magazines that test drive cars, and of course there is consumer reports, but Tester is the only publication that combines interesting and relevant items that consumers may not have any guidance as far as people that have tried them out,” added Burrell.
Tester Magazine touches on several core products as testing subjects like automobiles, powersports (jet skis, motorcycles, atvs), tech(iPhones, tablets, and other unique electronic devices), and lifestyle products (snowboards, skis, watches, etc).
The launch date for Tester Magazine is set for the first quarter of 2014. A yearly best of print publication will be produced, as well as an accompanying website with daily updates.
